Office of Sponsored Research

The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) fosters and facilitates research and scholarly activity at Children's Research Institute. OSR performs four critical functions:

  • Reviewing and approving all proposals for extramural funding
  • Negotiating and executing all sponsored program agreements and relationships
  • Interpreting regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Distributing information about funding availability to faculty

The Grants Section: Sponsored project officers (SPO) are assigned to specific investigators and serves as a single point of contact for all sponsored program grants and subcontracts.

The Contracts Section in OSR is assigned responsibility for contracts, including clinical trial, confidentiality disclosure, consulting services, independent contractors, master research site (with associated individual project schedules) and material transfer agreements.
