RFLs have aided research teams in improving the consent process by suggesting optimal ways to present multiple studies to families during a single research visit and by assisting them in the creation of parental permission, consent and assent forms.
RFLs also provide consultation regarding the modification of institutional consent and assent forms as well as policies dealing with parental permission, consent and assent.
