Driving Directions

From points north

  • From I-5 North, take the Stewart Street exit, Exit 166, toward Denny Way
  • Take a slight left onto Eastlake Ave. E
  • Eastlake will become Howell Street after about a block
  • Turn left onto Minor Ave
  • Parking is about half way up the block on Minor Avenue on the right hand side.

From Children’s Hospital

  • Start by going south on Sand Point Way NE toward University Village
  • Sand Point Way will become NE 45th street as you pass the University Village mall
  • Continue straight onto Montlake Blvd. NE
  • Merge right onto WA-520 west toward I-5
  • Merge onto I-5 south via the exit on the left toward Portland
  • Take the Stewart Street exit on the right, Exit 166, toward Denny Way
  • Take a slight left onto Eastlake Ave. E.
  • Eastlake will become Howell Street after about a block
  • Turn left onto Minor Ave
  • Parking is about half way up the block on Minor Avenue on the right hand side.

From points south

  • From I-5 North, take the Olive Way exit, Exit 166, on the right and turn a slight right onto Olive Way
  • Turn right onto Melrose Avenue
  • Turn right onto Pine Street
  • Turn Right onto Boren Avenue
  • Turn right onto Olive Way
  • Turn left onto Minor Avenue
  • Parking is about half way up the block on Minor Avenue on the left hand side.

Validated Parking

Validated parking is available at Met Park for CHRMC patients, research participants, and business partners.

Parking validations are good for the Met Park West, East, and North garages and can be obtained at the 5th floor reception desk. Validated parking is available only for regular Met Park Garage hours (see below).

Please also note that the reception desk is open between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on Children's holidays. If you anticipate needing a validation outside of those hours, please contact the reception desk ahead of time.

Met Park Garage Hours (Monday through Friday) are as follows:

  • Met Park West: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Met Park East: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Met Park North: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

  • 20 - 40 min ............ $ 6.00
  • 40 - 60 min ............ $ 8.00
  • 1 - 2 hours ............ $10.00
  • 2 - 3 hours ............ $12.00
  • 3 - 4 hours ............ $14.00
  • 4 - 5 hours ............ $16.00
  • 5 - 6 hours ............ $18.00
  • 6- 24 hours ........... $20.00
  • Eves after 5pm ...... $ 6.00

If you need assistance exiting any of the Met Park parking garages after hours, please use the intercom system next to the attendant booth by following the directions posted.

Lot Parking

Several pay lots are located in the area around Met Park. The closest of these is located at the corner of Boren and Howell.
